He holds expertise in handling diverse portfolio practice while specialising in indirect tax, commercial disputes including arbitrations, insolvency & bankruptcy among others and regulatory matters. He practices across all major forums with a focus on the Company Law Tribunals, High Courts (across India) and Supreme Court of India.
He has represented various Indian and multinational corporations and institutions on a range of corporate-commercial transactions, including arbitrations. He has handled arbitrations arising out of agreements pertaining to construction contracts, insurance, transfer of business, government projects among others.
He regularly appears in taxation matters, primarily indirect tax, representing for a wide range of clients across sectors including public sector undertakings. He has also been appointed as amicus by Tax Tribunal in few matters.
He has also advised clients on various issues like impact of cross-border government policies on businesses like bans on import or export of commodities; product liability arising under cross-border state-specific regulations; strategizing client/issue specific litigations under Indian laws etc.
He has represented creditors, corporator debtors as well as the resolution professionals/liquidators before the NCLT and NCLAT.
He is an accredited arbitrator with the Asia-Pacific Centre for Arbitration and Mediation (APCAM) in all APCAM countries, and is an empanelled arbitrator with Indian Institute of Arbitration and Mediation.
