Prosenjit is a registered Indian patent agent with strong expertise and knowledge in Life Sciences domain. He is actively involved in drafting and prosecution of pharmaceutical, chemical, and biotechnological patent applications.
Prosenjit is as well instrumental in providing litigation support in patent opposition, revocation, infringement and invalidity, and handling IP searches for patentability, FTO, invalidation, and patent landscapes. Dr. Chattopadhyay has successfully handled patent portfolios in a wide variety of technologies, including pharmaceuticals, prodrugs and metabolites of pharmaceuticals, formulations, protein conjugates, polymers, petrochemicals, nanomaterials, process technology.
He was a post-doctoral scholar at Osaka University, Japan, where he worked in the area of metalloporphyrinoids and hemeproteins. He was also awarded with G-COE fellowship for post-doctoral research.
Before joining LKS, Dr. Chattopadhyay worked with premier manufacturer of oncology drugs, in their anti-cancer research division.
