Preeti started her legal journey with Lakshmikumaran and Sridharan (LKS) in the year 2008. She joined the indirect tax practice and gained significant expertise in Central Excise, Service Tax, VAT & Customs Law.
After four years of working with Lakshmikumaran and Sridharan, Preeti moved to the industry and worked with GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare Ltd and Hindustan Unilever Ltd for more than 10 years. Being in Industry, she gained hands on experience of implementing GST in the organization including transition management & stabilization and setting up new processes to ensure compliances under fast changing legal network.
As an in-house Tax Advisor, she has immense experience of interpreting & applying complex tax laws to various business transactions including mergers and acquisitions, cross- border transactions, supply chain restructuring etc. She comes with a practical experience of handling various litigations, investigations, audits, and enquiries by tax authorities.
Preeti’s skill set includes a deep understanding of business needs and offering a pragmatic solution.
In her current role in LKS, she is focused on building industry-wise practice to offer one-stop solution to the client from both tax & regulatory perspective.
