Dhruv has advised various technology, IT, consumer electronics, FMCG, defence, and automotive companies on diverse aspects of Custom law, Foreign Trade Policy, Import & Export Control, Foreign Exchange Management Law and Special Economic Zone related issues. Along with advisory services, Dhruv has participated in Tax Compliance Reviews for various companies across different sectors. Dhruv represents cases before different authorities including CESTAT, Director General of Foreign Trade, Development Commissioner of Special Economic Zone, Customs department, Export Inspection Council, etc.
Dhruv has also briefed and appeared alongside Senior Advocates in matters relating to Customs Law Litigation before the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India.
Additionally, Dhruv also advises clients on IT laws with a specific focus on issues relating to data privacy, technology transfer agreements, royalty agreements, and commodity classification & licensing requirements. His background enables him to advise on policy-related issues relating to data privacy and IT products.
