Bipin has been working for more than 36 years in the field of indirect taxation.
He worked with the Department of Revenue (Central Excise & Customs) for 21 years and represented the Department before the CESTAT as Departmental Representative for four years. He has rich exposure to functioning of all fields of revenue department.
He has been working for last more than 15 years with Lakshmikumaran & Sridharan and handling advisory and litigation matters for manufacturers, traders, importers, exporters, SEZ/FTWZ, EOU and service providers in all sectors. He has been advising clients on all aspects of tax and allied laws (GST, Customs, Foreign Trade Policy, Central Excise, Service Tax, VAT/CST and Corporate).
He has successfully handled GST implementation projects for more than 50 clients from all sectors- manufacturers, service providers and traders.
Bipin assists clients in business model restructuring for adopting optimal tax efficient business models covering supply-chain solution, procurement policies, marketing policies, record maintenance system, creation of MIS, management of litigation cases. process automations. He assists clients in reviewing and designing of supply-chain and from taxes and legal compliances. He has conducted health check /compliance reviews for more than 100 clients.
Bipin is also providing regular hand holding /support to clients during investigations, audits and assessment proceedings.
